En-route Charts for ASECNA – Digitalization and Chart Production

As part of the modernization of aeronautical services in West Africa, CGX AME contributed to the digitalization and production of En-route charts for ASECNA. These essential charts support safe and efficient navigation in a region with high air traffic activity.

Context and Challenges

ASECNA (Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar) brings together several African states and manages air traffic over a vast geographical area.

Producing reliable En-route charts that comply with ICAO standards is critical to ensuring the safety and fluidity of both international and regional air operations.

In response to increasing traffic and the growing complexity of aeronautical data, ASECNA launched a digitalization initiative to modernize its cartographic tools.
